About this policy

This policy explains what CETA collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to the worker, employer, and admin portals, and to this website.

Information we collect

We collect the information needed to run the staffing agency:

• Account and contact: your phone number, your email if you add one, and a password we store as a hash.
• Identity and verification: your full name, National ID, date of birth, profile photo, and the documents you upload for verification.
• Worker profile: work experience, skills, languages, education, weekly availability, preferred categories, expected rates, and location.
• Employer profile: business name, business type, TIN, logo, and locations.
• Activity: staffing orders, offers, shifts, check-ins and check-outs, approved hours, ratings, and disputes.
• Payments: the fact and status of the registration fee, processed by our payment provider.
• Technical: basic device and log data we need to run and secure the service.

How we use it

We use your information to operate the staffing loop: to verify identity, match workers to staffing orders, send offers, record shifts and approved hours, handle disputes, process the registration fee, prevent fraud, communicate with you, keep the records the business needs, and meet our legal duties.

Sharing

We share personal data only as needed to run the service:

• CETA staff (admins) who carry out verification and placement.
• Employers see a worker phone number only after that worker confirms an offer. They do not see the contact details of unconfirmed workers.
• Service providers who host the platform or process payments, such as Flutterwave, under contract.
• Authorities when the law requires it.
• We do not sell personal data.

Retention

We keep personal data while the account is active and for as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, tax, and dispute records. Verification documents are kept for the period needed to support placements and audits.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, object to certain uses, or withdraw consent. Email hello@cetahospitality.com. We may keep records we are required to keep.

Security

We use access controls, hashed passwords, and encryption in transit to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure, so tell us if you have a concern.

Children

The service is for people old enough to work lawfully in Rwanda. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy and will show the date it changed. Material changes will be communicated in the portals.
